ESTIMATED PRODUCTION LEAD TIME & PRE-PRODUCTION APPROVALS.
Estimated Production Lead Time refers to the time required to complete the item in production; this does not include packaging or transit. Because all pieces are handmade to order, specific completion dates will not be provided. The quoted lead time will begin once the deposit has been paid and all of the following items (if applicable) have been completed, reviewed and approved:
Shop drawing(s) approved and signed.
Finish samples have been approved and signed.
Fabric or hardware has been received.
Terms & conditions have been reviewed and signed.
Client is responsible to review and confirm all installation details and dimensions (elevators, doorways, stairwells) for delivery clearance prior to approving the shop drawing. If upon delivery knockdown services are required, additional charges will apply. If merchandise needs to be returned to our factory, you will incur additional delivery charges and storage fees.
CANCELLATION.
Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of deposit. After 24 hours, all sales are final.
CHANGE ORDERS.
Any changes to an order at any time may change the price, estimated production time and/or shipping quote and delivery window.
Immediate changes to an order can be made within 48 hours of deposit. All changes after 48 hours and all final approvals of shop drawings and finish samples is subject to a change order fee. The minimum change order fee is $150, which can increase depending on the complexity of revision.
Changes are not guaranteed.
SHOP DRAWINGS FOR APPROVAL.
Dona Nati will begin shop drawings after order confirmation of materials, dimensions and design details provided by the client. All shop drawings and custom designs are the creative property of Dona Nati. Please allow for a dimensional tolerance of 1/2” on every piece. Dona Nati will provide up to four revisions for shop drawings. Any additional changes will incur a $75 fee.
FINISH SAMPLES FOR APPROVAL.
Dona Nati will provide up to 3 samples per order. A $75 fee will be applied to any additional sample
requested.
FINISHES.
All materials are unique and vary in characteristics such as pattern, texture, veining, color and shade variation and often inherent unique features and markings. Shades and hue in lacquer, fabric, glass, metal and leather may vary slightly depending on the manufacturer and production line. These are not considered defects or imperfections, and must be expected as they enhance the character of the piece.
Finish samples are provided to serve as a distinct representation of the completed product, and the finish cannot be disputed upon receiving the product. By reviewing this document, the client acknowledges they cannot dispute the accuracy of the finish sample and completed product upon receiving the item.
COM/COL.
COM refers to Customer’s Own Material and COL to Customer’s Own Leather. Any COM/COL sent to Dona Nati should sidemark the yardage, fabric source, pattern number and color number. A shipping address will be given to you on your invoice.
A COM Form will be provided if applicable. This form will need to be filled out and sent to Dona Nati once a COM/COL has been specified. If a form is not sent, Dona Nati will use its own judgment on applying the fabric. When fabric width is less than the standard 54”, seaming will be needed. Seaming on leather pieces is necessary and can vary depending on the size of hides.
Dona Nati is not responsible for any imperfections in the fabric before cutting and cannot guarantee the look or tailoring of COM fabrics, since each fabric will cut, sew and tailor differently according to the nature of the fabric. Dona Nati assumes no responsibility for COM/COL failure of any kind, including seam slippage and wearability. Dona Nati does not warrant Customer’s Own Materials in any way.
COH.
COH refers to Customer’s Own Hardware. Any COH sent to Dona Nati must include location instructions so we can implement it for approval in the shop drawings.
SHIPPING.
The balance due must be paid upon completion and must be paid within a week of notification, regardless if prepared to accept delivery. Delivery will not be scheduled until payment has been cleared. All delivery reschedules must be requested 24 hours in advance, otherwise a second delivery fee will apply. If delivery is not made 14 days prior to completion, storage fees will be assessed.
RETURNS.
All sales are final. Items must be inspected at the time of delivery. If anything is incorrect or the piece was damaged during shipping, this is the only time the buyer will be able to indicate problems with the piece. Please note any damage on the bill of lading or delivery document and reject delivery in necessary cases. A signed delivery document confirms the order was delivered as ordered without damage.
Once delivery is received, please inspect the item for quality. Dona Nati pieces are made-to-order based on customer’s specifications. We will always ensure that our products are designed and delivered to meet your specifications. We will gladly repair any item that is reported as damaged upon delivery. Orders are non-refundable and non-returnable once delivery and installation is accepted by the client.
WARRANTY.
Each piece is made to order, therefore we are unable to offer a warranty. Please be sure to consult with Dona Nati regarding preserving longevity and proper care of your piece. As natural materials age, there will be some natural shifts in the grain and/or color, which is to be expected and are not considered defects. Dona Nati will only attempt repairs related to faulty craftsmanship within 180 days.
PAYMENT TERMS.
A 50% deposit shall be made to initiate order fulfillment. The final payment shall be made upon completion of the item and prior to delivery. An invoice will be generated and emailed to the customer to begin services.
